Read Me – on events
If you have read my blog, Education is the Key to Professional Success, then you know professional development is at the top of my ‘must do’ list.
There are plenty of organizations – tax-exempt organizations, government tax authorities, for-profit companies – who offer educational events for the tax professional – from 2 CE hours in an evening, 8 CE hours for a full day, or conventions over multiple days with many 2-4 CE hour courses to choose from.
Listed here are just a few sources available for you education needs.

Most professional organizations offer members wonderful perks for membership; some organizations have tiered pricing which grant access to all continuing education on-demand webinars as part of the dues. Many tax professionals – myself included – belong to two or more professional organizations in order to maximise our membership dues and minimize our ordinary business costs by the value of the membership perks we receive. I’d advise all tax professionals to look closely at what organizations have to offer, how those offerings will aid your business AND your KNOWLEDGE, which will all ultimately provide an opportunity for your business to grow.
